) manifestation I wanted to use the feminist criticism, the scene I chose contained elements that I thought were chauvinistic. When I read this scene, I felt as though Higgins was belittling and overly rude to Eliza. It was not unavoidable to be so mean to her. I wanted to show Eliza to have more strength, not to accept Higgins talking to her as demean as he did.
